This series centers on the unique experiences of pre-service teachers of color learning through a pandemic. Our voices and stories should never go unheard in which the Surviving Through Covid series ensures. This series was brought about through the SEEDS research team. This series will allow us to have open dialogue about things that are working along with things that are not working during this unprecedented time. In addition, we plan to present these findings to the College of Education by welcoming faculty to certain days of the series, to help bring about change to better our overall experiences as pre-service teachers of color.

During these unprecedented times, it is easy for the uncertainty of the world to become consuming. Too often, mental health takes a back seat to survival. Here at SEEDS, we recognize that a pandemic can impact one's mental health as much as one's physical. We welcome you to join our monthly Mindfulness Mondays in which we participate in mindfulness behaviors in order to promote mental health awareness. Take some time and join with us as we learn to take care of our bodies from the inside out. Click on our calendar to see when Mindfulness Mondays will be occurring this semester.
